Multicolor 5050 SMD Angel Eye Rings (pair)

Overview

Multicolor. Add RGB color changing ability to your vehicle with our Multicolor 5050 SMD Angel Eye Rings! These multicolor angel eyes can be installed on any vehicle as an accent for your headlights, tail lights, speakers, or anywhere else you'd like! By using an RGB controller (not included), you can set them to any color imaginable, or use any lighting mode offered by the controller.

Sizing. All sizes are listed by outside diameter, in millimeters. Width is 8mm, so inside diameter is 16mm less than outside diameter. To determine what size angel eye ring you need, we recommend measuring the outer diameter of your housing where you would like to mount it.

Custom appearance. Our Multicolor Angel Eye Rings are primarily a cosmetic upgrade and intended for installation inside a housing, as they are not waterproof. 

Reliability. These LED angel eye rings are populated with forward-facing 5050 size SMD LED chips. Typically, angel eyes have resistors mounted directly on to the board itself. However, our RGB Angel Eye Rings utilize external current regulators for improved durability and reliability. The regulators are housed in a small, fully-potted (waterproof) regulator box, which is simply attached inline between the controller and the LED ring. With a standard 4-pin RGB connector, our RGB Angel Eye Rings are compatible with all Diode Dynamics RGB controllers. 

Installation. If you are installing these in headlights or tail lights, professional installation is strongly recommended, as the factory lamps must be opened for installation. The halos must be custom-mounted in position using epoxy or any adhesive. Mounting accessories are not included.
